No Artwork? No Problem! If you're not sure how to get the artwork
process rolling, contact
us for help.
However, if you are familiar with preparing the artwork for plate
setup, here are some helpful guidelines.
Applications:
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Photoshop
Basic Label Creation:
If you do not have Adobe software, we can also use a .tif or
.jpeg file.
Trapping:
We will apply all trapping to your label. Every label requires different
care when it comes to this area. VERY IMPORTANT: NEVER GO UNDER
.5 LINE WEIGHT!
Setting Up Colors:
Use the Pantone© Color Matching System to formulate Spot colors.
Be sure any Photoshop art is in RGB, LAB color format. Be sure that
all files linked to the final document use the exact same name for
any identical colors in the final document or they will be treated
as separate colors.
Text:
Regular type should be no smaller than four point for legibility,
and reverse type no smaller than six point and in bold.
Proofs:
The final proof of the label is always left up to you, the customer.
You must be happy with the design, proof, and sign off on all labels
before they will be printed.
